ASA (After School Academy)

Bay View offers an "After School Academy" to all students, from end of school until 6pm. Our Academy offers two tracks for the convenience of families:

  • A Free, Full Time option. This is paid for by the ASES Grant, and it requires a commitment of 5 full days per week.
  • An Affordable & Flexible option. This option offers affordable pricing on a sliding scale and allows families to pick and choose which days they would like to attend the After School Academy.

Bay View "After School Academy" students receive support and guidance academically as well as taking part in enrichment and physical activities. We ask for the best from our students in everything they do.

ASA activities include:
  • Homework tutoring and reinforcement of math and reading skills
  • Art
  • Creative writing
  • Math games
  • Community building through role play and team activities
  • Additional activities such as cooking, dance, music and soccer
Snack and Wednesday supper is provided.

Enrollment and Attendance
ASA accepts students TK through fifth grade who attend Bay View Elementary School.

Students are enrolled based on attendance, teacher recommendation, and positive behavior. We are open at the end of each school day until 6:00 p.m.

Our program emphasizes and expects positive academic behavior, as well as participation in community building skills, healthy habits and physical activity.

We are dedicated to supporting the changing needs of each student and we work closely with Bay View teaching staff.
